The “New” Mobile Electronics®

Who We Are. What We Do.

To better position our company as a marketing and business resource to our members, partners and customers, in 2014, we consolidated our various business entities under the single brand, Mobile Electronics®. We are committed to providing channel support that includes education, access to information, technology, and media.

Mobile Electronics® now includes:

Mobile Electronics® Association (formerly MERA), a vertically-integrated membership association with over 1,100 dealers, installers and manufacturers as its members. We provide a forum and voice for the mobile specialist channel. We believe industry growth depends on our dealer members investing in their businesses in order to make them better and stronger, while delivering an exceptional customer experience. We do this by educating, informing and empowering dealers and installers.

KnowledgeFest® shows and conferences combine a trade show floor with educational sessions and training workshops, including regional training opportunities for manufacturers. We offer two event dates:

  • 1)    KnowledgeFest® “Spring Training” in April serves the Midwest and near-East regions and is the perfect time to highlight and train on new products now shipping after debuting at CES.
  • 2)    KnowledgeFest® Dallas in August serves Texas, the Mountain States and the Southwest. It is our original event and is highlighted by the presentation of our Mobile Electronics® Industry Awards.

Partnerships: The channel partnerships we support between ourselves and our dealer and manufacturer members help drive business and profits in the mobile specialist channel.

We are inviting select manufacturers to become Mobile Electronics Partners and support our efforts in the specialist channel and retail sector. We have bundled membership, exhibiting, sponsorship, marketing and advertising to create four levels of partnership between manufacturers and Mobile Electronics: Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. In exchange for their support, we offer our partners “enterprise savings,” which result in lower costs to participate, more value and higher return.

Point-of-Sale Software Systems: Our TSS™ software may be the channel’s best point-of-sale system. Used by over retail businesses, it also allows us to collect point-of-sale data, aggregate this and then generate reports for manufacturers showing brand performance down to the level of what vehicle in which product was installed.

SYNQY: We are agents for SYNQY. SYNQY is a real-time shopper marketing platform that helps brands connect with shoppers through the experience they desire, across thousands of retail and reseller sites that they didn’t own. SYNQY provides brand control over how its content is presented on online retail sites.

Website design, creation and management services for dealers and manufacturers. We manage and control the websites of over 150 dealers; providing unique opportunities for brand exposure and consumer marketing.
